      Dr. Jonathan Hernandez (commonly known as “Dr. H”) was born and raised in Selma, California. He is a Professor of Communication who began his higher education teaching career at California State University, Fresno. Jonathan has taught at several other colleges all over the Central California region including Bakersfield College, Brandman University, Clovis Community College, College of the
Sequoias, Fresno City College, Reedley College, and the Wonderful College Prep Academy in Delano, CA. Currently, Jonathan is advising and teaching full-time at Porterville College and is the proud Founder of RISE 2 IT Productions: The #1 Motivational Speaking Company in Central California.
     Jonathan has earned national attention for being ranked the fifth highest-rated professor in the United States according to NBC News, NBC Latino, USA Today, and the popular instructor-ranking site, RateMyProfessors.com. Moreover, Dr. Hernandez is the first professor from the San Joaquin Valley to ever be honored with such a title. Jonathan has also been nominated and selected as Business Street Online’s “40 Under 40” class, that highlights outstanding business professionals in the private and public sectors who have yet to reach the age of 40. With both of his parents establishing over 65 years in combined educational experience, Jonathan acknowledges that his love for education began in his home. One can easily say: He was certainly born to be in this line of work!
     Dr. Jonathan Hernandez utilizes his gift by empowering professionals and students with the tools, skills, knowledge, and abilities required to succeed in today’s world. He shares his story to inspire others to pursue their career and relational aspirations. Though, undoubtedly, what makes Jonathan different than other speakers is that he is innovative, passionate, and pertinent to all ages.
